As on 23rd August 2015, in the Wielkopolska Agriculture Consultancy Centre in Marszew, the XXII National Potato Day took place.
Agriana Sp. z o.o. with commitment was taking part in the presentation of potato varieties from the Meijer B.V. breeder. We had four varieties within the trail field, which was managed by the organizers. There were two table varieties: Orchestra and Melody and two crisping: Lady Britta and Lady Claire. What more, consumers could try fried Melody potatoes which were prepared on our stand.
Taking into consideration very difficult weather conditions this season, Orchestra and Melody also on trail fields showed and proved their power such as very strong resistance to drought and therefore, were very interested to many farmers.
Moreover, Agriana Sp. z o .o. has taken part in the annual culinary contest with success. Together with potato variety JAZZY coming from breeding Meijer B.V. has received the Tastiest Potato Variety Award of the XXII National Potato Day.
